What I find very interesting (as posted in a thread earlier today from me) is a friend of mine at the local Apple Store said (Head of Visuals), that he had a big day (NIGHT) coming up which is a bit abnormal - as they normally don't find out anything until the NIGHT before the announcement - Sunday was the earliest he was ever told (several days) before he needed to set things up, although, I though he mentioned that he wasn't getting things ready until tomorrow night (for Wednesday open), which is also a departure, (ala Tuesdays).

Guess he was right. Didn't read into it to much due to all the March 24th rumors -

I believe I posted it in future hardware,

Happy for him, he knew something before I read it on the boards. (smile).

Will be really happy to see FIREWIRE and DEDICATED GPU on the mini with NO SNAFU, APPLE "gotcha's" - please Apple, no GOTCHAS, what, missing a DVD burner? LOL

i'll be a bit dissapointed if the rumors that the iMac is just dual core (and not a quad) come true... i sold my G5 Quad and wait for a quad core iMac now... hell, the G5 Quad is now more than 3 years old...

The mini has a burner; I believe that's what SD means, right?

My only disappointment is that the processor hasn't changed in the Mini. I suppose that just follows suit with the low-end MacBook which, iirc, had a slower processor by the numbers than the white MacBook it nearly replaced.

EDIT: Looks like the Mr. X was wrong. Two procs on the mini, 2.0 and 2.26. TAKE THAT MR. X!!! ;^)

    Store's down.
