G5 report in german magazine!
OK, has this been a practical joke or did they knew more than us, only to get caught by a last-minute-stev-o-change?
Tomorrow - February issue
They didn't bother to use a quicksilver picture to illustrate this, but IT COULD BE MORE EVIDENCE FUELING THE G5 RUMORS!!!
I want to believe

Sorry, here is the picture in all it's glory. The text says
Apple
Power package
Apple breaks the Ghz barrier for fast computers. The G5, presented at Macworld expo in January, has a 1-Ghz-processor. The power package is available in three speeds: 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 Ghz.
I am optimistic about the g5, don't get me wrong, but I think this article is bogus, however I do believe that we will see 1.6 ghz g5s soon
I like the "torn" page affect they attempted in Photoshop, with a slight drop-shadow. To bad they didn't at least use the quicksilver model.
That's it; all further use of German mac content sites is hereby banned in this forum.

I don't know what they say or if they are bogus or not. Check them out...

Would you mind translating the G5 information to English from these 3 sites?

happy userone
Well, the Tommorrow article appears to be based on pre-macworld rumors. Bear in mind that Tommorrow is not Time magazine. It is a crap new Economy magazine. The refering sits are being a little sarcastic therefore. That's all...But they could have been right spot on if Apple had done what it was supposed (and expected) to.
says that tomorrow ****ed up with the G5 report

makes fun of tomorrow.de likewise
hope you feel better now
It will be interesting to see Tomorrow's report on the new iMac next month.
Xype has caught the essence of the articles.

they will probably put it away as speculation
btw, isn't tomorrow a company of the publishers of the Bild series of magazines? that would explain the quality...

Bad journalism may be a trademark of the Springer group, but Tomorrow is part of the "Verlagsgruppe Milchstrasse". Detailed info here: http://www.vgm.de/anzeigen/presse/facts/index.html
