MacBook - Leopard upgrade to Snow Leopard?

I want the Mail Exchange Server support in Snow Leopard. If I buy a new MacBook today shipped with Leopard, can I get the upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard for free? (No, right?) When will SL be released? And how long will it take to have SL shipped with MacBook after that? Thanks.

No one outside of Apple knows when Snow Leopard will ship (and the large majority inside Apple don't have any idea either). So we can only speculate.

But I think it is safe to say that if you buy a computer today you will not get Snow Leopard for free. And once it does come out Apple will probably do the same thing that they have done before: throw an upgrade disk into the box of all the computers they already have produced. Additionally there is a program that will send you a copy of the upgrade disk if you bought a computer within a certain window of the release date (10-30 days depending on circumstances... and those are hard numbers).

You won't get Snow Leopard for free lol.

Snow Leopard should hopefully be out by the summer time.
