Software Update Broken? HELP!
I've been trying to update my Macbook Pro (Santa Rosa, late 2007), but Software Update just keeps loading like this:
except that the progress bar doesn't get past the starting block
I thought it was because I removed some packages of software that I uninstalled from my computer already from the receipts folder. But when I restored the filed, it still doesn't work.
Does anyone know what I should do?
I'm also running Safari 4 on Leopard 10.5.6, if that helps.
Thanks!
I already updated manually from the Support Download section on the apple site, but I wanna fix this!
UPDATE: I deleted the cache file in ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate/ and it works now!
I found the apple discussion here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread....sageID=6583920
