Multiple monitors & window positioning
I'm a relative newbie when it comes to using multiple monitors. I have an annoyance, and I'm not sure how to eliminate it. What I'd like to do is have one monitor dedicated to open folders and use the other, larger monitor primarily for viewing & working on files. The problem is that the files always seem to open on the smaller monitor. Now I'm not so lazy that I can't just drag the window over to where I want it, but I figure surely with all the power of OS X there must be some way I can get the files to open where I want them by default. Problem is, I've not been able to figure out how to do that. Any suggestions? Also, this is complicated by the fact that my smaller "monitor" is really my MacBook Pro which I travel with and use all by itself fairly frequently.
