KeyNote Crashes on saving large presentations

I wonder if anyone can help me out?!

On attempts to save a 300Mb presentation, the blue bar fills up to the end and then stays on for almost 10min, then the Keynote crashes displaying: Keynote quit unexpectedly.

    What version of Keynote? On what machine? How configured?

    I have a Keynote 08, on an 2.0GHz Aluminum unibody Macbook, running Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard on 4G RAMs.

    300Mb is very large. Do you have a movie embedded? If so can you down size that or better still link to the file rather than putting it in the presentation?
