I have this problem traying to upgrade my Macbook's HD.

I used Superduper to clone the Hard Drive and make it bootable, but when I try to run any application on the new drive, all applications crash , I used my leopard installation DVD to fix permissions but does not work, then tried with the original installation DVD that came with my Macbook and it looks like is fixing permissions but, restart again and all apps crash seconds after lunching, what can I do to fix them? even Terminal crashes so...

How is the destination drive formatted? It should be "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)".

Did you try reformatting the destination drive before reattempting a backup?
