Apple External BACKLIT Keyboards?

Does anyone think that Apple will everntially release and develop a back lit keyboard that is external?
I think this is a natural progression for them. Makes sense. I know they would sell well.
Thing is, it is a .50 cent technology but apple will charge $79 at least, a $19.50 Apple Tax, of course, LOL, for the back lit key board.
I would pay for it, also, there are a few here for less than $14.00.
Has anyone found a good external, keyboard? I know some of the slim can be pretty cool.
