Need help with burning a 60gb DV movie to disk

Hi. I have tired 4 different types of DVD disks to burn a 60gb movie I created with imovie. my drive will not read any of them. What am I doing wrong? I am using a macbook

    A DVD cannot hold 60GB. Raw video data is huge, but data used on a DVD has been specially formatted and compressed to fit on the DVD and view nicely when you play it back. Have you tried sending the movie to iDVD? It can convert the movie for DVD and burn the disc; this can take some time.



    In iMovie with your movie file open, go to the menu bar and click on SHARE. Pull down to iDVD. It will open and you should be on your way.
