iTunes Authorization to play song...HELP!

My friend burned me a CD with songs from his iTunes. I imported the songs to my iTunes, but now some of the songs won't play because my computer isn't authorized, as he had purchased the songs from the iTunes Store. I don't know his email or password, so I can't authorize it myself. And I've also tried converting the songs to AAC format but it won't let me because the songs are protected.



Is there a way to get around this?
