HD Data Recovery Question
Hey Folks....
using Disk Utility, I erroneously selected my DVD backup HD to format instead of my new HD.
I clicked on the "Erase" button, immediately saw my mistake...and, before the progress bar had even progressed, I hit the "Cancel" button. Not more than 1 second could have passed.
However, the end result is that OS X/Disk Utility can not recognize my Data Hard Drive.
What are my (hopefully free) options to make it readable or recover all of those DVD_TS files?
thanks for your help in advance.
and, yes, I know about SubRosaSoft & their recovery software. However, it's more than I'd like to spend.

Your partition map is most likely fried, but the data 1's and 0's should still be intact and recoverable back into files.
no comp for mention
