I have one, but have not tested if it plays H264 in all circumstances. A Handbrake-H264 DVDRip in an mp4 container did not work, but perhaps you have better luck with mkv or avi.
Anyhow, I strongly recommend you NOT to buy this, it's a piece of junk and its the only piece of electronics I ever bought in my life I really regret buying. The interface is very primitive and sluggish, it often hangs, certain movies play without sound, on others it won't pick up the subtitles for god knows what reason... Don't get fooled by the HDMI port, considering how much trouble it has playing high-bitrate DVD-rips, I highly doubt it'll play HD content at all.
