Does anyone know what 7200 RPM HD upgrades for a MacBook (Aluminum) are available that have a noise level about equal to the OEM HD?

    When noise levels are important the brand that comes up the most in my searches is Hitachi.

    You can look up your System Profiler app and see what you already have installed.



    It's been a long time since I've had a notebook hard drive that was bothersome, I think they're all pretty quiet now.
