I found these component images a few weeks ago, and I am still not sure what to make of them.

Looking at the bezel part, if this is part of the new iPhone, it appears there are a number of changes.

    1) The entire device may be a little shorter - but with the same sized screen.

    2) A circular hole in the bezel near the bottom right of the device. Which would make sense as a camera shutter button.

    3) An all-black bezel which does not surround the entire screen. This implies a seam, which is very odd for an Apple design.

    Here's a rather crappy photochop:

Not crappy at all mate. Very interesting. ...Your "artist's rendition" made it to two AppleInsider main news items.

Personally I'm not moved yet with any of its desirability factor, which is probably good, which means I can save money by not getting myself the new iPhone 3G and sticking to my current iPhone 3G!
