Reformatting a MacBook Pro, using an external keyboard?
Hello everyone,
My MacBook Pro Crashed several months ago, it would chime, show the spinning "gear" then just go to a black screen.
My keyboard went out earlier, I just haven't had the money to get it replaced yet.
I've tried to get the install disks to load, but it doesn't seem to be working with an external keyboard.
Any ideas on what could help my poor MacBook Pro?
**Here's a little more background info: almost 2 years ago a careless person was over (my friend's love interest...) anyway, she spilled spike on the left side of laptop. I got it dried out and cleaned. I had expected the keyboard to go out as it did. I did open the laptop to look for signs of corrosion after a year but found none. Everything besides the keyboard was working up to par until it just died, which is what leads me to believe it's on the software side.**
