iChat reformatting links

I don't know what caused the change, but all of a sudden iChat is formatting all my links like this: here . I would prefer that it show the URL of the item I'm linking to when I send it to a friend. If I highlight it and select 'edit link' then I can send it properly, but I'd rather not have to do it. Any suggestions on how to get iChat back to sending URLs without reformatting? I'm using version 3.18 on Mac OS X 10.4.11 .
