Can you boot off of an ExpressCard?

Just curios if you can load OS X onto an expresscard and then boot up off of it with a 2.16MHz MBP?

Is this possible?

    The Expresscard interface combines a USB port and a PCIe x1 slot. A card can connect to one or the other, and most in fact just use the USB part of the slot. If a flash card connects over the USB part of it, I don't see why you couldn't boot off it, but that would be very slow.
