GeForce 4 announcement 4th feb

Do you remember that the GeForce 3 was first announced by Apple in their new PowerMacs.

If NVidia will announce the GeForce 4 the 4 feb it could correspond to an Apple announcement. That's why some testers was astonished by some graphics speeds.



Do the 4 feb correspond to Seybold or some other event?

    probabily there will be 2 annoucements : the Geforce 4 aka the nv 25 and the geforce (?) mx aka the nv 17.

    Both chips will be based upon 0,13 micron fab process.

    the ultimate geforce 4 will have 300 mhz DDR memory.

    All part of Apple's stratagy to make the iMac graphics chip outdated. I am still amazed at the GeForce 2!
