Character Palette

Hi All



Hey i just discovered that you can drag down portion of character palette to reveal typeface.



I did not know that.



(And for all of u old mac gurus, take it easy on me, pls)

    Actually, that's not the Character Palette. That's the Font Panel.



    This is the Character Palette:







    And, yeah, that feature has been around for a long time. Heh.

    You can also select "Show Preview" from the Extras menu at the bottom of the fonts panel. The resizing function is nice for really big fonts too. There really should be a slide widget (grab handle dot or dash thingie) for this.

    A neat little point mentioned in Ken Bereskin's <a href="http://radio.weblogs.com/0100676/"; target="_blank">weblog</a>, which recently covered the Font Panel, shows how the text in the preview section can be changed by simply clicking on the text and typing. Handy

    If you are ever having a problem matching a typeface check out <a href="http://www.whatthefont.com"; target="_blank">What The Font?!?!</a> that place has helped me out a lot, and a whole new meaning to WTF!!!
