i know nothing but i have a gut feeling that iChat 2.0 is going to be amazing. I think we may see video conferencing and a whole shitload of apple's nifty tricks that makes them unique
As for 10.2.5 is it possible that it'll include Java 1.4.1? I know this is coming out soon. Seems like a likely reason to add the .5 to Jaguar. As for iChat, I've not heard a single thing about it. It's as if no one bothered to check up on it and the progress being made. Video confrencing would certainly be a valuable addition. As for the .5 release, aside from the Java update, what else do you all suspect will be added? Probably just additional compatibility with DLD's?

Oh.. and I would think a major iChat update would come with either 10.3 or as a standalone upgrade, not with 10.2.5.

Mail not to play a sound when all it's downloaded is junk mail or stuff that's been filtered direct to Trash (more of a "you have new mail" than "I've finished checking your mail" thing).
iChat to be vaguely useful.
At least an option to preserve the hidden properties of files when you're connected to the root of a networked drive (I live in fear that I'm going to do something really stupid to something just because I can see it).
iMovie 3 to move slightly faster than a slug on Mogadon.
iSync to allow you to directly sync two networked Macs (rather than having to sync via .Mac).
The return of OS 9-type system sounds, so I can get Xounds off my system: great as it is, it's a joke on my Powerbook because the sounds aren't cached within the OS, so it has to spin the hard drive up to play them.
Probably some other stuff that doesn't come to mind immediately...

Any evidence of 10.2.5 being in progress?
1. A mute button that works with iSub
2. Unicode support for Hindi (likely in 10.3 though)
