I did a forum search and did not find this asked else where, so here I go:

Quick question:

Any idea to how long it usually takes new models to pop up in the refurbished store? I am looking to possibly purchase a unibody macbook pro (Summer 2009 model) and am not sure how long it usually takes for them to appear in the refurbished store. Obviously no one knows forsure, but anyone willing to speculate or know how long it has taken in the past? Thanks.

EDIT: and also, do they put up current gen products, or is it last gen stuff once product lines get updated?

I've noticed that some new models will start to show up maybe 4-6 weeks after they're released so maybe mid late July you'll see some of the summer 09 MBPs in the refurb store but it may take a while til they are regularly in stock. I waited until the newest ones were announced this month to buy a refurb MPB as they drop the price on the refurbs each time a new model is released. Yeah, I've got an express card slot and no built in battery but...oh wait I consider that a plus!
