MainMenu: Using the program? Does it work good? Tips? etc.

Hey.

So far, the only things that I've used MainMenu [ http://www.santasw.com/ ] for is a few different times that I needed to Force Empty the trash, and a couple times to restart the Dock or relaunch the Finder.

I have been wanting to use it to clear caches and whatever else I should do to ehance my computer's lifespan, and increase its general/overall performance etc. Although I trust the program, I'm scared about using it because I don't want to wreck anything about my computer or erase anything important by mistake. I don't know exactly how or what I should do with it?

So, any usage advice, tips, instructions, directions, things to avoid, etc. that any of you who use MainMenu could tell me, would be very helpful!

I'm running 10.4.8, with the newest version of MainMenu installed.

You won't wreck anything by using MainMenu.

    I prefer Onyx, personally.

I'll have to look up what ONYX is. As for MainMenu, does it delete/reset preferences for apps or system?
