macbook vs macbook pro for recording music

So i need a new computer for college but also would like something i can record music on.



I'm thinking of either the macbook w/ 2.0GHz intel processor and 80 gigs of hard drive or the macbook pro w/ 2.33 GHz intel process and 120 gigs of hard drive.



I prefer to save money and get the cheaper one if possible, but will it be able to do quality recording (i mainly play guitar and dabble in singing) at basically the same level as the macbook pro?
