All right, enough hemming and hawing. Put up or shut up. Give us your final predictions on what Steve Jobs will announce at the keynote. Afterward we can see who was right and who really got it wrong. Any predictions after the keynote begins will be disqualified.

My predictions, in no particular order:

Jibber jabber about retail initiative, Intel transition success

Mac mini with Core2Duo chips, same price, available today

Demo of Photoshop CS3 running on Mactel, Adobe announces "shipping by" date for PS

BluRay drive optional on iMac, Mac Pro, ship today

iLife '07 including new iDVD with BluRay burning, available today

iWork '07 with Numbers (spreadsheet app), available today

Mac OS X Leopard full preview, ships by end of March

One more thing...Airport Theater (iTV) available this month "perfect companion to your new HDTV"

Your turn. And...GO.

They already did a 'preview' of Leopard with just some of the features, why do you think they'll do this again? If they talk about Leopard, they'll cover the whole shebang, I guess.

    I want to see:

    - Leopard

    - iTV

    - New screenies

    That's it.

I'm betting against iTV and iPhone both being shown... just iTV for now, along with the suspected next-gen iPod along with the regular, expected stuff. Doesn't make sense to focus on two major releases at once... at least a "superPod" and iTV make sense together.

Forget the hardware & the software annoucements.

MS with WHS/XBox /IPTVis gonna own the living room. What I hope Apple does because it sure needs to: buy Nintendo!

What I fear is gonna happen: Steve Jobs steps down. What a fscking wrong time to do it if its true.

Apple needs a living room "story" and the iTV on its own is NOT it. It needs a games console as well and Nintendo's family-friendly image fits perfectly with Apple's. With Nintendo and Disney in the bag then it can fill in the gaps like the cell phone.

IMO this is make or break time for Apple: MS is pushing really hard this time round for the CE space. And its winning Sony is imploding and the only one capable of holding the fort is Jobs.

Secrets of Leopard, including a new UI. Shipping in May, but "we may surprise you".

New 07 vintage for iLife (including core imaging in iPhoto for dramatic slide shows, etc.) and iWorks.

Hardware updates, from the Mac mini to the dual quad core MP.

iTV final details, available immediately from the Apple Store.

iPhone (maybe even called that), the first in the series, available late Feb or March. Pre-announced to keep the stock from taking a hit and also because it doesn't take away from existing product sales - just like the iTV was pre- announced.

One more thing that we can't even begin to guess.
