Airport Extreme N Card

Hi all



I have been looking at the New Base Station release yesterday and am interested in getting it to increase my wireless network, however I have an old PPC Rev B iMac with a 802.11G card in it.



Do you reckon it's likely that they will release a N Card for the old iMacs or so that not possible

    I guess that will not happen. Usually, Apple does not create/adapt new products for older computers. So not even us with G5's from only one year ago will ever see a "n" card... Only those computers with the new(er) chipsets and Core 2 Duo have the hardware inside to support the new speeds.

    Apple will not release a card, but third parties will.
