Yeah, maybe they can have the Mac guy and the PC guy duel to the death, Zorro style.

    Dear Friends

I agree with the above poster in my opinion that the current ads are lame.

I'm lame, too, but I think the Mac guy is always too reserved. I'm sure it's supposed to be cool, and Apple's advertising department certainly knows more about what the public will buy than I do, but I'm still one of those old holdovers who believes that Macs rule and PCs drool.

That may be an old and trite phrase, but it's genuinely true.

Compared to Macs, for most uses PCs suck.

My language is juvenile, but I can't think of any words more appropriate.

In short, I'd like to see ads that are a little less laid back.

I've been a daily Mac user since the fall of 1989 and am not a sycophant.

    Sincerely,

    Jaddie

Sure let's pay upwards of $2 million to show an ad for a quad-core workstation that is the most niche product in Apple's lineup

Well to be fair, he did say any new Macs. I think an iMac, Mac mini, or MacBook commercial would be very apropo.

    Ultimate Superbowl ad....

Leopard is available for both Macs and PCs. Apple apps are tied to Mac's. But one could install Leopard on any Intel box. A big FU to Vista.. This would be the ultimate Superbowl ad.
