Let's have a vote on Leopard's release date!

By release I mean in the store, in a box - come and get it type of date. Not an event date, but an actual sale date.

/by the way that 3rd option should have been March 23rd, my mistake.

    I expect Leopard release on June 12, 2007, date of Apple WWDC Steve Jobs Keynote 12 PM EST/9 AM PST.

    Yeah they're Friday's, Apple has a history with releasing OS's on Friday's, and without being the first and last Friday of each month, I though I'd go one Friday in from each side. And I threw in June 15th at the end as it's the last day of WWDC 2007.

    I too think it will be an April release, either one of the four Fridays in April. I guessed April 20th, so we'll see.

    I agree with Galley. I don't particularily want to wait until June. Does anyone have any idea as to the probable/possilbe upgrade cost if I was to buy now and go for the 10.5 when it does come out?

    Doesn't Apple usually release new things on Tuesday? Looking at my calendar, it looks like April 6 isn't a Tuesday.

    I went for April 20th. I say this based on SPRING break being in March and June being the start of SUMMER vacation. I wish I could still adhere to both of those... The Apple included dictionary also defines spring as being form March to May.



    Steve said spring, and April is as spring as it gets.



    With the WWDC in June, March or April seem right for a special event. The actual delivery will be a couple of weeks later.

    Interesting...when you add up the current totals for each month both April and June received 18 votes which is 32% apiece.



    Does anyone think it could be later than June?



    Or is WWDC the latest everyone thinks it will be?
