Old ATA drives on new intel mac

I'm going to be purchasing a new intel mac in the next month or so. I have 4 internal ATA drives on my current G4 1.25Dual MDD computer. It looks like these won't wonk in the new mac. Am I correct? Does anyone know a workaround other that mounting them in external enclosures?

Thanks!

Matt

I believe the Intel Macs all use SATA, so you're going to need new hard drives. I do believe there are adapters for PATA to SATA though.

Adapters won't fit in the bays.

There are external firewire/usb enclosures. You could also put one of the PATA drives in the empty optical bay.

I guess you could just share the 4 drives from the MDD...
