I really need a new MPB, but I don't want one that will be out of date in 5 years. Should I wait until they come out with the 80 core version?

Seriously, we live in interesting times... I remember when Teraflop was the hot new idea in Science Fiction. I guess hover-cars, hyper-drive and intelligent anthropomorphic AI robots are just around the corner!

The day robots come out that are like in the movie iRobot or close to it. I will buy 2 without asking how much. The day I can get help that works 24/7 and doesn't bitch, does what I say, I will be happy.
