AppleTV and piracy

Legal and moral issues aside, do you think it will be possible to convert movies into the iTunes library and watch them on AppleTV, the same way you can with iPod.

I ask because iTMS Canada still does not offer movie and tv downloads and i'd like to be able to watch my downloaded content on appleTV. I'm tired of the blockbusters and the rogers videos and i'd like to leave them behind.

Yes, anything that will play in iTunes will play on Apple TV.

Yeah you can convert anything. That's the only reason I'm interested in it. Tired of blockbuster and rogers and yet you want to pirate? That's flawed thinking, if you want to be a true pirate of the best quality movies, get appleTV, rent from blockbuster or rogers, rip the movies with handbrake and watch on apple tv. With a huge external hard drive you now own any movie you rent. Making movie purchases no more than 6 bucks each. That's the pirate way. Of course I'd never do that, that is wrong.
