Apple TV Video Setup - 480i??

This video of setting up Apple TV shows 480i in the setup screen. At least it looks like that to me.

    I have no idea why that would be there. From what I have read, it won't work when hooked to a 480i set.

    it works, but the aspect ratio is off. i believe they have 480i widescreen televisions in europe. it stretches the picture taller.

    I have an analog Toshiba TV with a 16:9 setting to letterbox anamorphic stuff (like widescreen MiniDV footage). It looks like I could use AppleTV with this setting?

    If it has a component input, then yes, it should work.

    Yeah it looks like it's confirmed that any 480i tv with component and a decent mock widescreen mode will work(a lot of crts made in the last 3-5 years have this)
