    Agreed. It hurts Starz more to lose Disney than it does for Apple to be selling the movies. An unfortunate side effect of this lawsuit is that every studio is now studying their contracts with cable/downloading companies to see if they are 'stuck'.

    Besides, everything is quickly moving to ad-supported free online, or downloadable per show programming... cable is in trouble.

    This is in reference to the Vongo service operated by Liberty Media, not Starz the cable channel. Vongo provides downloadable movies on a subscription or rental basis, licensed under the distribution deals Starz has with the studios. The idea is Vongo = Starz to go.



    Starz was offering this service well before iTunes started offering downloadable movies.
