.bin file extension hijacked by VLC player
Hi everyone,
I just installed VLC player and apparently it changed the regular .bin file association to VLC Player and now I can't install any new software packages that have a .bin extension.
Is there any way that I can restore the original file association or remove VLC player as the default app for .bin files?
Thanks,
I just got a new macbook yesterday and I'm new at this

- Select "Open With..."
- Select your application
- Click "Change all..."
Done!
But what is the correct application that should be associated with the .bin extension? What do I change it to in order to install .bin packages?
