anyone know the education pricing on Indesign 2?

I currently have Pagemaker 6.5 which is great but not OS X compatible of course. And I really can't spend a ton considering I rarely use the app

You know? I found InDesigne 2.0 easier than PageMaker 7.0

Actually I think InDesign would be a VERY easy app for both the Pro and the beginner to pick up... it's VERY easy to learn and VERY easy to transition to and it's VERY powerful.

Definitely, Quarks archaic user interface and over-complicated processes made it very daunting to learn from scratch without some sort of class or bible. InDesign (with that world-famous Adobe UI) is very intuitive and I have not yet sat in front of it wondering how to do something. Quite nice indeed. Now, I'm not running a magazine or anything but I am still exploring most of the features.
