    people are jumping on this dude, but I think they misread due to a typo. we wasn't saying 10 phone models. he meant to say:



    ... aiming for 10million phones, not 10 million iphones...



    in other words, they want to sell 10 million cell phones... that might be 1,000,000 iphones, and 9million cheapo clamshell phones that will be announced at a later time. you all are focusing on his typo 10 vs 10mil and not focusing on his phones vs iphone argument.

    I'll admit that I was one of the "one million" people to request updates on the iPhone via Cingular's Web site. However, my chances of switching service providers to adopt the iPhone is decreasing everyday. With the latest ratings of U.S. wireless carriers by Wireless Week (http://www.wirelessweek.com/article/...llence+awards), and a simple comparison of current and future coverage maps Cingular would have to pull off some miracles to re-attract me. Hence, when you read this article, know that not everyone requesting literature will purchase an iPHone.
