What the hell is going on with IE for X?

Lately (do not know if it is the latest X build) but IE does not function properly. I type in my AutoFill Profile and when I close Explorer and put the machine to sleep it erases my profile when I start back up. Same goes for browser color.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Anyone else having this problem?

I use IE 5.1. It orks just fine; in two months it has only crashed once, and that was with a huge array of opopups that popped up all at once. I as surfing where I shouldn't have and decided to press option-comd-w and close all windows and thirty or so punitive popups appeared. Arg! IE choked.

Yes, I suppose it does... for the 1/5th of the websites it renders properly.

Actually, I thought the same but since setting it's prefs to identify itself to web sites as netscape 6, the problem sites are perfect. Very weird but true. Try it.

try to set the setting to "netscape 4.7" to be even more compatible...
