Using GarageBand with multiple mics
I would like to start a podcast and I am going to be using GarageBand (at first) before I move into anything more complicated. I was wondering if it was easy to hook up multiple USB mics to the software in order to record 2 or 3 people having a conversation (in a radio-like style). Any other tips on starting my own podcast (without spending any serious money) would be appreciated.

To get two mics running well, you will likely need an audio interface.
Something like these (I am just searching quickly) will let you use standard mics (3 pins):

Or this set up

Which comes with a mic, Cubase application, headphones, mixer... wow

Thanks for the reply. I tried to register for the Apple seminar but whenever I click the Register Now button, it takes me to a login page instead and if I put in information, it says that I have to register (which is obviously impossible without a registration page). Does anybody know what is going on?
