Virus

Hi all,

I'm new user of Mac OS. My sister just accidentially clicked on a link on yahoo messenger. And for what I know, that link is a virus. I heard that Mac cannot be affected by Win virus. Is it true? Now I'm afraid my Mac Pro is affected.

If anybody experiences it, it'll be thankful if you give me some suggestions.

    Your mac pro can only be infected by a Windows virus if you're running Windows on it.

    And for the sake of clarity, only if you are actually IN Windows, meaning it won't affect Mac OS X at all even as it wipes out your Windows Partition.

    More simple: Windows virii do only infect the Windows OS and Mac virii would (if there were any) only infect OS X.
