Mac Pro Ram Question
A friend of mine is looking to buy ram for MP, asked me for help (as I eyed his machine enviously, I want one :-p). Anyone know if this ram from otherworld is good, it seems *considerably* cheaper than most other FB ram with the right heatsinks. If a deal is too good to be true....

What I see is, from the link you provided, that OWC's heat sinks meet Apple specs, but the heat sinks are not the same type as used by Apple as OEM.

Yah, I've ordered from them before, the ram looked too cheap to be true though, was wondering if anyone here had used it. Betting on OWCs rep, I just ordered some for my new MP and my friend is ordering some for his, I'll report back with how well it works (though I don't expect any problems).

I've been contemplating adding 1 Gig more of RAM to my MacPro 2.66 GHz Quad-core Xeon 5100 machine. I see where OWC has such a "set" (two 512 MB modules) for $147.99:

But, I see where Crucial Technology has the same set for $139.99:

The savings is not much, but I was wondering what individuals here think of memory from Crucial. (Previously, I used to be a firm believer in memory from Kingston).
