What program allows you to edit movies on Final Cut Pro?

I've been trying to find a program that will allow me to extract video (and possibly audio) from my DVDs so I can use it to make my own little videos. What program would allow me to do this?

    If you search forums with words "rip dvd" you get plenty of topics discussing this. here is one for an example

    You can use Mactheripper or Yadex for extracting video from commercial (encrypted) DVDs and software like Visual Hub for converting the Video_TS or VOB into DV for editing in Final Cut.
