EV NOVA won't work !? help ?

when i boot up EV Nova i get messages:

"resource id: 500

code: resource not found"

(also id: 501, 502, 503, 800, 10000)



then the whole thing just quits ... i never even make it to the startup screen



anybody know what gives ?

    happened to me too. i deleted the folder, then reinstalled from the .dmg.



    Seemed to work. Didn't stop the game from sucking monkey cock, though...

    the only thing that got me was how quickly i finished one of the endings. i'll have to play some of the others tonight, see if they're any better.



    otherwise (unless you're on a modem) i'd recommend downloading the file again, see if that works.

    I assume that you are referring to the Vell-os missions. They were intended to be sort of an extended tutorial.



    To put it another way, that mission sequence makes up 30 of the 600+ missions in the game.



    BTW-Polaris missions are rad!

    He probably ran the tutorial, did some trading runs and passenger runs and stopped...
