Best Way to Lock Some Stuff?

I am trying to find a solid, stable freeware or shareware app that can lock a folder or disk partition so I don't have to worry about people looking at my pr0n collection. Any ideas?

Well, in OSX you con simply set the permissions so only your user can access it. It's all under the Privileges section under "Get Info"

it's a pain in the neck, but one option is to stuff the entire folder and then encrypt the .sit file with the 9.2's built-in encryption. In fact, I think StuffIt can protect archives with a password as well.

Or even better, if you have a zip drive, you can put all of your p0rn on a zip disk. then using IomegaTools, password protect the entire disk. That way it is password protected, but not sitting on the hd waiting for someone to figure out the password.

leaving password protected files on the hd of a shared computer can be really tempting to some people. you know what i mean?

I found using <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=ResEdit"; target="_blank">Resedit</a> (even better get <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=Super ResEdit" target="_blank">Super ResEdit</a>) or <a href="http://www3.sk.sympatico.ca/tinyjohn/BigSecret.html"; target="_blank">BigSecret</a> helpful in my hiding stuff days, just make them invisible. You don't know it is there if you can't see them

I thought about encrypting stuff, but it's a pain in the ass to have to decrypt all your stuff on a need-to-use basis.

I think Norton Disklock has a folder locking tool. Hmm, I'll check that out.
