  Yeah, it seems kind of lame. When I bought my new Mac Pro and a 30" monitor, I bolted them to the desk.

  What a junk patent. They clearly have no idea how they'd actually implement this. We need to go back 100 years ago to when you actually had to provide a scale model of what you're doing to the patent office.
