Check out <a href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/24708.html"; target="_blank">this article</a>. And I thought that Windows and the whole GUI thing was to make computer use easier. Silly me!

If Microsoft keeps this great stuff up, Apple won't even have to advertise why "Everything is easier on a Mac."

Windows Messenger is great! I use it more than AIM. It has an excellent file transfer feature and a funky GUI. The built in sound and webcam support is awesome! Me and my friends can easily connect with our cameras and talk over the net with sharp unchoppy video and clear audio (we all have broadband). These features are built right into the interface and slide in and out when they are in use. I also love that it integrates nicely with Outlook XP.

I don't know why anyone would want to delete it - it's such a small program. However, if you don't want to use it, just go into Windows Startup options and uncheck it (to prevent it from loading upon system start). That's pretty much all you have to do. I (and many others) are glad MS included a cool built in Messaging app with their OS. I don't think anyone would be bitching if Apple did the same thing. Again, if you don't want to use it, you don't have to. It's that simple.
