15" MBP Features vs. 17" MBP (Speakers etc.)
My 17" MBP was stolen last week and I need to buy another one as soon as the updated versions come out. With the news that only the 15" will see the LED display and maybe other updates, I will settle for the smaller size in exchange for the most current technology.
My question is how do the speakers on the 15" compare to the 17" model. I'll be losing screen area which is a bummer, but I want to know if there are any other disadvantages when switching from a 17" to a 15"?

Aside from the loss of real estate, I believe the only other thing you lose is weight (1.2lb) and more importantly cost:
Apple MacBook Pro MA611LL/A 17" Notebook PC (2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD SuperDrive) 6.8lb: $2,649.99
Apple MacBook Pro MA610LL/A 15" Notebook PC (2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD SuperDrive) 5.6lb: $2,349.99
The $300.00 difference in cost will certainly cover the 40GB loss in default harddrive size and I'd recommend buying additional RAM instead. The only other loss I discover is two USB slots as opposed to three in the 17" MacBook Pro.

I know that they can both be configured the same (basically). Does anyone know if there are the same amount of speakers with just a smaller speaker enclosure? It would be nice to get some extras for the same price (more RAM etc.) Hopefully the LED screen will be so bright and vibrant I won't even notice less space.
