This conference is all about Leopard so I do not see any hardware getting introduced at WWDC. The iPhone will get some stage time but only enough to disclose the contract terms and show off a few more features and applications, if there are any.
If Apple does provide developers with a SDK for developing iPhone applications, Steve will mention it but there will be no demonstrating it on stage.
Also I'm sure Steve Jobs said that this would be the year of the Mac, can't remember when or where, so don't quote me on that. But I do think that WWDC will be more than just Leopard, SDKs and iPhone.
There will likely be very little on the iPhone there. The iPhone material will be done on the 29th, at the launch event. If the SDK for developers for iPhone is given out, it will probably be a brief mention, and move right along with things fairly quickly.

Very possibly on new displays and the design, but doubtful on the iSight and definitely no on the LED. LED is just too expensive now.
My original predictions?
-Leopard Preview (Secret Features)
-Possibly iPhone development SDK (I give it 50/50 chance)
-New Cinema Displays
-Possibly new iMac (again, I have no idea, giving it 50/50 chance)
-Possible MacBook/MacBook Pro tweaks (larger/faster HD upgrades, higher resolution (now option) standard on 17" MBP) and coupon for 1/2 off Leopard?
All I know is it's not going to be all about Leopard, possibly a bit on iPhone, and Cinema Displays. Apple's got something else up their sleeve. The slate is way too empty on the "software-only" theories... there's going to be something... it's finding out exactly what that's the tough/fun part.
Now that people actually have the new MBPs in their hands, I don't think that that's possible for anything to happen with them. If there was anything they were going to activate, we'd probably know about it by now. We knew about the Draft-N capability pretty early.
I also want to point out that last WWDC, Steve spent 3/4 of the time on Leopard, and the time before that, he spent the entire thing on "hey, here are some of my favorite widgets" and "Yo, we be goin' x86, dude". I'm just saying, don't underestimate Steve Jobs' ability to spend 90 minutes talking about 2 or 3 software things.
Regarding the Mac Rumors report on the new Ali iMacs..
Quote:
Finally, the new iMac's enclosure is described as "brushed aluminum" to "better match that of Apple's high-end systems as the company repositions the iMac as a more premium offering.
If this does turn out to be true and the iMac is being repositioned as a more premium offering, I wonder what will be coming in at the lower end of the market? That new headless Mac to replace the Mini?
Also I'm sure Steve Jobs said that this would be the year of the Mac, can't remember when or where, so don't quote me on that. But I do think that WWDC will be more than just Leopard, SDKs and iPhone.
I've very excited to see what happens next week.
Year of Macs!, let us hope something new direction in the Mac(s), new Mac!
I belive new iMacs are for sure, given the 'Year of Macs' Steve told us on january. AND its going to be an amazing design. Also, if you see Steve's D5 interview, its clear that he belives on the proliferation of portable acessories, or something like that, and that he has fantastic new products on his sleeve.

Maybe, MacPro extreme (top of the line with more powerful graphics cards and new architecture), same enclosure.
That's it!
Is it not the time for temporary insanity?
1. Mac Book - Done
2. Mac Book Pro - Done
3. Mac Pro - Done
4. iPod - possibly no upgrade considering Back to school offer already in place - so Done
5. iPhone - almost everything known -Done
6. Apple TV - updated & Done
7. Mac Mini Discontinued rumor
...
left with iMac, Cinema Display, Leopard Release date.
Conclusion: 11th June will probably be the best time ever to buy a Mac (if the new iMac is released).
For the first time we will have a complete family update and Steve next things!
...And I will buy one...

If there's an SDK it'll be one of the main focal points of the conference!
No SDK would be only a passing mention.
I think it's because its pretty much going to be Mac OS X and thats it. Maybe updated Cinema Displays...or some crap like that.

4 days 1 hour? Isn't that 4 days exactly? I was under the impression that there's a + 1 hour daylight saving going on in SF at the moment?
Can anyone confirm this because I need to schedule the live coverage into my day!
