Advice: Buy MBP 15" 2.2 Ghz or MPB 3.33 Ghz on sale?

I'm looking into buying a new MBP. On one hand I would like the MB, but the screen is to small. I am therefore looking into the MBP.

I wanted to know which would be better? A new MBP 2.2 Ghz or an old generation middle-class MBP 3.33 Ghz on sale?

The main question I have is which will be faster and work better?

I'd definitely get the 3.33GHz MBP on sale

Does anyone know as well where there are good prices for last generation MBP's (if I would end up buying one)?

    Thank you

I would go with the 3.3 rather than the 2.2. It should be roughly 50 percent faster at less cost. Plus your resale value on a 3.3 is going to be much higher.
