Thoughts, doubts, queries?

I'm waiting until I see feedback about the installer.

I like the news about 1.1 retaining EXIF data, though.

No problems for me so far - it's a minor update...only adds things that should have been there in the first place. Although it's nice to have brightness/contrast controls in there.

The "Email" button is also smart. The iApps have to work better together and this is a step in the right direction. (I know Mail isn't an iApp, but it's close enough...). Setting your screensaver and desktop make sense also (although the desktop button doesn't work for me).

It still copies your images into the iPhoto Library folder, but now it retains your file names. Also you can search by comments.

Like I said, nothing tremendous, but worth it...

Oh - I just noticed this...

They addressed the one issue I emailed Apple with: now if you're printing less that 8x10s, it defaults to 2+ per page! Sounds silly, but with expensive paper this is a big deal... Anyway, they've implemented a "One photo per page" button just in case you prefer the old way.

I've a feeling there are probably many more little things like this that have been cleaned up around the app. It's nice to know that the feedback page on apple.com actually meant something!

I hope they include scanner support in a future version of iPhoto...
