File extension of Final Cut Pro document

    I don't think there is a file extension. There is no option to save with an extension. Remember, extensions are only required for Cocoa apps since they have had trouble with that HFS metadata.



    If you're curious, though, the type code for a project file is FCPF and creator is KeyG. If you export to a "Final Cut Pro Movie" it's actually just a regular 'MooV' file with a timecode track.
