Funny story involving my girlfriend and ipods that I just had to share with you all...
So in december my girlfriend got me a 2gb ipod nano. My first ipod, it was pretty sweet, i crapped my pants at the UI, etc. Then, two days ago, I bought a new macbook and I got a $200 ipod rebate. So I got an ipod video for $50.
Then my girlfriend asks "did you get a free ipod?" I said yes and she replies, in a freaked out way, "OMG who are you giving it to?!?!" because she had previously asked me months before if she could have my free ipod if it came with the macbook (because she has an ipod mini and didnt want to wait to buy her laptop) and I had just brushed off the question. She continues "I can't believe you're replacing my gift..."

She's kinda pissed. Am I being unreasonable?

naa man youre not being unreasonable. women are strange creatures, as we all know. if you didnt say that you would give it her then she can bugger off lol. from what i can see she has assumed that you would give it to her just because she asked you for it, but seeing as you didnt say you would, dont. dont worry mate, she'll get over it in a year or so lol
